Handmade prints are original art!

Handmade fine art prints are not a copy of art, they are art. Each print in an edition is hand printed, there is no mechanical reproduction. Artists and Master Printmakers have been doing this for centuries.

Confused? Join the club. Many sellers these days use the phrase “limited edition” to describe limiting the number of prints that are mechanically reproduced. These might have high quality ink and paper but are not printed by hand.  This is their right, of course, but the word “print” now means several things.
